"We are looking for a person who will work across airline crewing industry domain providing real time system for planning, scheduling and tracking thousands of crew members.
Candidate will develop and maintain highly complex and challenging products requiring broad and practical experience in working with cross functional team.
The candidate must have strong engineering and organizational skills, capable of adapting quickly, communicating very effectively and work in great collaboration with product leadership.
Candidate will be a part of product devolvement, Integration, Airline regulatory changes and maintenance/support of current Crew products
Responsibilities:
Define best practices and standards around database architecture and technologies around.
Provide a guide and assist for developers, testers and delivery team members in area of databases
Responsible for deciding tools and technologies for implementing the database resolutions and ensuring that architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting the business strategy Being a part of development process, write and review SQL, DDL, DML changes
Provide a support for development, test and production databases, perform root cause analysis Creates new ideas in order to improve database performance, deployment, stability and processes
Focus on continual improvement of data quality, security, availability, performance and consistency Implement, modify and maintain database schema for a complex system.
Ensures the database and its configuration adhere to organizational procedures and practices Deliver new Oracle database services Perform database migrations to new systems and new software releases
Work with multiple database servers and complex database environments Create documentation of database schema, triggers logic, requested changes, database development process Maintain Unix shell scripts that automate database dumps handling "
