We are looking for an Enterprise Application Developer for our flagship .NET products whose primary focus will be editing our existing applications, developing new applications based upon industry standards, and integrating our applications with third party tools. The Enterprise Application Developer primarily works with our proprietary WYSIWYG tools to create applications but may also do some development in HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript when needed. The Enterprise Application Developer should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment, and have a solid understanding of software development tools and methodology.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience administering, configuring, and developing custom applications in a rapid prototype/WYSIWYG platform like Ivanti Service Management, Cherwell Service Management, ServiceNow, etc. (admin certification in any of these platforms highly preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience developing front-end web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript highly preferred)
- 1+ years’ experience creating, editing, and manipulating data in SQL databases (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
- 1+ years’ experience integrating with other applications using REST or SOAP (manipulating JSON data highly preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience creating technical documentation for custom applications (Atlassian Confluence experience a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- A good understanding of high-quality user experience based upon industry standards
- A good aesthetic sense for user interface design, color, and typography (experience with design guides highly preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Incredible attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in the ITIL industry (ITIL certification highly preferred)
- Experience with the Scrum/Agile framework (Agile/Scrum certification highly preferred)
- Experience with software version control systems (Git, TFS, BitBucket, etc.)
- Experience with software issue tracking systems (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)
- Experience with XMLMulti-lingual highly preferred (Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese a big plus)
