Role will report to a Senior Manager in the Engineering Applications organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Engineer, Business Client, Data Analytics team, Solution Engineers. Enterprise Architects. and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 10-20% of work time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define a testing strategy and execute against that strategy for an Agile Delivery team
  • Communicate strategies and plans with customers and coordinate testing efforts to ensure optimal results
  • Work closely with product owners to understand future capabilities to guarantee testing coverage
  • Be the subject matter expert in the automated testing areas, identifying, evaluating and recommending the automated testing processes and tools for different purposes, based on business value
  • Define and publish key performance metrics or progress for the testing efforts
  • Be accountable for automating test scripts where possible
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven design methods
  • Support the business and IT testing efforts with best practices and coordination (where needed)

Key Qualifications and Experiences :

  • Understanding or practical experience in test automation with industry standard testing tools such as Selenium (Preferred), Worksoft Certify and Tosca
  • 2+ years testing experience on an Agile team
  • Experience with Agile, Azure Boards/JIRA and Continuous testing
  • Write/understand SQL, visual basic scripts and batch scripts is a plus
  • Experience with LoadRunner (building, executing), Control-M scheduling software, and ServiceNow is a plus
  • Takes initiative to resolve issues, review existing support documentation and researches on-line before escalating for help
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines
