Roles and Responsibilities

Build an framework that other testers will leverage

Own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features of an application

You will develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing.

You will ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.

You will participate in design and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans.

You will promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven work experience as QA Engineer

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

Ability to develop test design specifications, test plans and test cases.

Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

Good knowledge of writing SQL Queries & Issue tracking tool (JIRA)

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Strong experience on micro services and API Testing with tools like Postman

Experience in in Mobile apps testing ( Android )

Good to have : Experience in writing Automation Scripts using Java inUI Automation ( Selenium ) or API Automation using Rest Assured

Good to have : Should have experience/knowledge on Unix/Linux platform
