Analyze application requirements and provide recommended technical design solutions that are efficient, scalable, maintainable, and accurately meet the needs of the business
Create self-sustaining, automated reporting and visualizations
Develop/integrate and manage APIs exposing microservices including
development
Develop automated data pipelines and applications (Python)
Distill complex data into insights, providing executives with clear KPIs and actions
Prototype solutions and recommend the adoption of new technologies and continually improve our business partner s experience
Anticipate business questions by proactively developing targeted analysis
Conduct quantitative data analysis of product and business results - digging deep into historical data to uncover fresh business insights
Participate in data warehouse design and optimization
Produce reporting and process documentation
Accurately translate business requirements into technical ones
Promote data driven decision making across the organization
Proactively drive improvements for organizational data quality and reporting accuracy
Self-reliant, hands-on position; driving code quality and maintaining application stability
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent technical knowledge and experience
5 years of business intelligence or related experience
Proven experience with advanced SQL development in relational databases
Experiences with data integration using Python
Experience developing stand-alone and server based applications using object- oriented concepts
Understanding of dimensional data modeling
Be able to design, write, and debug queries with an emphasis on reporting accuracy
Strong time management, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels across the organization; both verbally and in writing
Ability to thrive in a virtual, team-oriented environment and can work well on both collaborative and independent projects
Highly Preferred Experiences
Strong technical skills in core programming languages
Snowflake and/or RDBMS performance tuning
Data science - forecasting and analysis methodologies
Working knowledge of Git/version control
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Tableau Desktop & Server experience
Experience working with SFDC, Clari, Anaplan, Netsuite, and/or other sales system data is a plus
