We are on the hunt for a talented cloud architect to manage our company's cloud architecture and position in cloud environments. You will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. You should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge.
Key responsibilities-
- Design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture across multiple external service providers.
- The Architect needs to be proficient in AWS, GCP product practices.
- Develop and documentation of AWS, GCP , and DevOps architecture
- Document as-is state of environment, gap analysis, come up with options, recommendations
- This individual should have a broad understanding of infrastructure components (AWS, DevOps Tools, Linux, Server, Databases, Storage, backup and Networking).
- Strong technical knowledge of AWS, Azure, DevOps tools, VMware, Nutanix, Linux, Windows OS and Automation
- Experience architecting, deploying and managing RDS, EC2, EBS, snapshots, and FSx file sharing Understanding of AWS Multi-Account Strategy.
- Experience on tagging, cost allocations, reporting, and budgetingParticipate in security reviews, audits, penetration tests, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and threat modelling
- Build a continuous audit solution to ensure adherence to security and compliance policies defined by for our central cloud services teamArchitect and design the setup and configuration of CI/CD pipelines and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevOps practices as part of a CI/CD implementation
- Recommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including scripting, integration, problem resolution, automation and configuration management
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and introduce them as needed
- Should be able to support day to day operation activity and ready to work in 24x7 environment.
- Interface with Solution management to develop, refine, and execute the Cloud first strategy and roadmap.
- Systematic and rigorous strategic analysis of architectural issues.Support, challenge and collaborate with external delivery partners.
- Capture the tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
- Enumerate, analyze, catalog, and suggest improvements to the strategic, core and support processes of the business unit, as needed, to support strategic and operational goals.
Requirements-
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
- 3-10 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
