We are seeking a motivated and savvy content editor to oversee our content publishing needs in a fast-paced work environment. You will be in charge of reviewing articles produced by content writers. Your primary duties will include content proofreading and editing, and ensuring our product content is error-free, increases reader engagement, and optimized as per SEO guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with a team of writers

Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax.

Ensure that content meets the company or client's needs, and follows our in-house style guide.

Verify content and information.

Collaborate with co-workers and come up with fresh, creative content ideas, keeping our audience in mind.

Manage a busy workload according to deadlines.

Analyze content and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.

Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.

5-8 years experience in a similar work profile (content writer, copywriter, content editor/reviewer).

REQUIREMENTS

Proven work experience as a Content Editor, Web Editor or similar role

Excellent writing and editing skills in English

Attention to detail

Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)

Familiarity with SEO and keyword research

Experience working for Ecommerce domain preferred

Team spirit

Education Qualification

Bachelors degree in English, Fine Arts, Journalism preferred.
