Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare the Functional /Integration / System test cases• Perform Functional / Integration / System Testing as per the Integration / System Test Plans and record the results in the Test Result Report• Prepare the Test Summary Report and Test result report• Analyzing the requirements and document test scenarios• Version control of all configurable items• Test case reviews• Python scripting and test automation for embedded modules and test zigs (is a plus)• Being a good team player• Assisting team in technical issues• Mentoring team• Ensure customer satisfaction• Communication - Seeking clarification, updating status• Conduct Internal Audits• Technical Interview Panel• Good understanding of coding and testing standardsHardware TestingRole:Requirement analysis, test design and develop Hardware test cases/suite as per requirementPrimary Responsibilities• Prepare the module level and Integration tests cases/suite based on the requirement specification (hardware specific)• Perform module level and Integration testing as per the Test Plans and record the results in the Test Result ReportTitle: Roles and Responsibilities• Good hardware/PCB debugging skills and understanding of the components• Extend Technical support to the team• Version control of all configurable items• Carry out system study and prepare use case / functional requirements document / Design document• Good understanding of hardware schematics and testing standards like CE/Physical Layer Testing• Act as a Technical Interview Panel• Ensure customer satisfaction• Being a good team player• Communication - Seeking clarification, updating status• Assisting team in technical issues• Ability to use tools and equipment’s like Oscilloscope, power supply, Calibrators etc.,• Ability to setup the hardware testing environmentAccountability• Test Cases/Suite• Test Reviews• Module level and Integration Testing• Process compliance• Customer satisfaction• MentoringTools and Software to be aware of:Usage of SVN, GIT, Redmine, TestLink, Jira etc..Digital Multimeters usage and handling,Digital Storage Oscilloscope and its usageProgramming Power SuppliesHART 192/193Kit knowledge is a plusNI Testing Tools usage is a plusUnderstanding the usage of Embedded Lab accessoriesIdea and usage experience wrt.
