• Penetration testing in various segments, such as Mobile, Fixed, Smartphones, Apps and IoT devices
• Security consulting of network operators
• Ethical hacking in telecommunications environment
• Finding security vulnerabilities by generating various attack scenarios for target systems
• Development of countermeasures for identified security vulnerabilities
• Development of innovative ideas for umlaut security lab focusing on intelligent and automated attack vectors
• Preparation of results for reporting purpose incl. presentation
• Performing diverse projects in the security area

Desired Candidate Profile

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, IT security, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in (ICT) security
• Knowledge in network architecture and network security of mobile or fixed networks is a plus
• A CEH, OSCP, Security+ or similar certificate is an advantage
• Knowledge or certificate of relevant security standards
• Experience in penetration testing and common security tools
• Knowledge of smartphones regarding security concepts
• Self-dependent and proactive way of working
• Very good English skills
• Willingness to travel frequently
