Roles and responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining all server-side components.
- Collaborating with front-end developers on the integration of elements.
- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.
- Documenting the architecture and development processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
- Keeping oneself updated with advancements and upgrades in the field of open source community.
- Maintain the coding standards and being compliant with the code quality tools
- Able to write test cases and perform unit testing and performance testing for the developed modular components
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish rapport with immediate team members, product heads and stakeholders
Qualifications and requirements
- 3+ years of experience writing Java APIs
- Experience in building mobile and web products.
- Experience integrating with Restful web services
- Experience building transactional systems and strong understanding of software architecture
- Fluency in cutting edge IDEs and good control of deployment tools
- Detailed knowledge of Design Patterns and application of them is a must
- Skills to present one s effort efficiently is a plus
- Strong proficiency in: Distributed systems, Low- latency services, NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience with messaging frameworks is a Plus, e.g. Kafka, RMQ, AMQ
- Microservices Experience is a Plus
- Strong communication skill
