Roles and Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, development and functional testing use cases based on user stories presented

Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications

Recommend and execute improvements.

Has proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Drive design discussions while also working with architects if a need arises.

Participate effectively in interactions with all levels of personnel with different teams

Primary Skills required:

Strong Core Java experience, Multithreading

JPA/Hibernate (Oracle), JMS messaging (or any queuing mechanism), RMI, OSGI framework

Linux System knowledge

Postgres, SQL (Oracle or any other RDBMS)

OOAD, core java/JEE Design patterns

JSF, Icefaces working Knowledge

Socket Programming / Networking

Secondary Skills required:

Web services (SOAP, RESTful)

Spring Framework

XML, JAXB working knowledge

UML

Tomcat

Cloud (AWS) is desired

Soft skills required:

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Able to preempt, identify and resolve problems that are non-routine or lacking in definition.

Has working knowledge of Agile process.

Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule.

Good time management skills.

Attention to detail. Able to work with little or no supervision.

Ability to work with team members across the glob

Experience range:

3-5 years of hands on experience in Java applications

Educational Qualifications:

B.E./ ME (CS/EE) or equivalent higher level degree

Experience:3 to 5 years
