Extend the firmware or our monitoring device ToolScope in Java and C++.

Create or extend software around KOMET s monitoring solutions in Java and C++. Examples: visualization software for Siemens or Fanuc controls. Software which visualizes summaries of precollected machine data (machine stand still time, machine running time, ) .

Write / Extend descriptions for manual tests; extend automatic tests

On middle- term: 2 nd - level hotline in your time zone

Be part of a programming team which is currently build up. Supports a fast growing product line of an international company.

The work is organized by work tickets. On the short run, they are written by the central development in Germany. On the middle- term you explicitly shall get experience in the products and then work in parts self- planned and with bring in at in their own ideas.

Qualification: BE- Mechanical / BE- IT or CS / MCA with focus on information systems.

Experience: Total working experience of at least 3- 5 years is needed. You should have experience of 2- 3 years in Core Java programming and at least 1 year in C++ programming.

Programming with the C++- framework QT

Knowledge in Linux server administration in general

Knowledge in Linux driver programming

Knowledge in Android- Programming (Cellphone Apps)

Knowledge in the Java Native Interface (JNI)

Currently working as full time programmer which uses Java.

Will to get able to work with small controls which simulate to be parts of a CNC machine. You have to read through the sometimes big documentations talk with hotlines and get help from parts of an international team (especially from the team members in Germany) to get forward.

Self- dependent way of working; will to question details of the work aspects which you assigned to you and to improve the suggested solutions

You must be able to communicate in English. Other international languages (Spanish Chinese) would be fine, but are no precondition.
