Linux Server OS management, Installation, Migration, support & administration:
- NFS, SAMBA, DNS, FTP, Apache/Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, Zabbix installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Configuring & Remote Accessing through SSH (SSH Password less authentication).
- File System administration and management like monitoring various logs, file systems etc.
- Monitored various tools/ alerts and responded with defined SLA for Service Support like: Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Configuring and managing logical volume management (LVM).
- Backup and Recovery Performance Monitoring, Debugging OS failures.
- Experience in troubleshooting and recovering Linux.
- Monitoring Virtual memory, adding additional swap space as needed.
- Processes administration and management like monitoring, start/stop/kill various processes/subprocess.
- Basic shell scripting.
- User account management creation, deletion, and assigning permission.
- Linux Firewall (Iptables and Firewall) configuration.
- Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Git.
DevOps:
- Good Exposure to DevOps skillset
- Good exposure to AWS
- Good exposure to Docker and Containers
- Good exposure to Openstack
Windows OS Management, support & administration:
- Installation and configuration of Microsoft outlook.
- Troubleshooting fixing desktop/laptop OS, L2 level issues.
- Creating OS images to reduce the OS deployment time.
- Basic Hardware Troubleshooting.
Virtualization:
- Good Exposure of working on VMware Esxi Server Management (Creating VMs, Migration and Troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of Virtual box or VMware workstation.
Preferred knowledge:
- CCNA / Enterprise Networking (Switching, Routing, and Firewall).
- RHCE / MCSE certification.
Knowledge in any configuration management tools and containerization platform will be an added advantage.
Good written and verbal skills with fluent English
