Job description
In this role, you will leverage your breadth and depth of knowledge and expertise to manage, support, and deliver advanced mobile technology solutions to thousands of devices, including phones, tablets, Macs, and virtual and augmented reality hardware.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and expertise as a subject matter expert on Mobile Device Management (MDM), Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), and Mobile Application Management (MAM) concepts
- Create and engineer solutions for devices and platforms including iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows hardware and software lifecycle, system configuration and management
- Create and engineer solutions for specialized device platforms like RF scanners/printers, HoloLens, including hardware and software lifecycle, system configuration, and device management
- Operate and maintain access to our app storefronts, and support the mobile application delivery lifecycle
- Recommend and implement security best practices to sustain and improve the security of all mobile devices and the MDM platforms
- Understand and resolve complex operational issues impacting user productivity and design proactive resolutions to address and prevent
- Analyze, mature, and grow the mobility service offerings to drive adoption and expand utilization through reporting and key performance indicators
- Be viewed as a partner and trusted resource for others within and outside of the team and department
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years managing mobility endpoints in a global enterprise across different hardware, vendors, infrastructure, and platforms
- 5+ years acting as a technical SME or architect for mobility engineering and modern endpoint management
- Proficiency in mobile-based storefronts, including Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store for Business
- Experience with Mac management, and virtual and augmented reality hardware platforms and management solutions
- Familiar with endpoint security concepts including patching, change management, communication, and generating user awareness
- Comfortable with traditional endpoint management infrastructure, architecture, design, and management principles
- Advanced or professional certifications on any MDM platforms.
- Able to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
- Demonstrated ability to independently guide teams or projects with moderate requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiates with others to influence and adopt different points of view
Education: Bachelors Degree (experience accepted in lieu); relevant industry certifications and ITIL preferred
Experience: 4 - 7 Years
