We are looking for a Node.js Full stack Developer to be part of the team building our next-generation web-based applications for our Consumer business. This is an exciting opportunity to help build the future of the McAfee Web interface and applications. This will be the primary "hub" for managing all McAfee protections, including Dark Web Scanning Identity, VPN, password management, parental controls, and more.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the Role:
- You will be part of the team developing cloud-based consumer applications that provide security software used by millions of people around the world
- You will develop, test and deploy robust products that are fast, scalable and responsive to protect the privacy and security of our customers' digital lives
- Deploy applications on AWS cloud with the ability to quickly debug hosting related issues
- Establish, refine and integrate development environment tools and software as needed
- Identify production and non-production application issues as a part of deployment
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Design and maintain large and complex databases, both relational and non-relational databases
- Perform the responsibilities and rituals as an active member of an Agile development team
- Curate and manage telemetry, dataflows and workflow automation to help the business improve results
- Participate in deep data analysis on big data systems to bring nuanced perspective to a complex userbase
- Work with global teams including Architecture, Product Management, Customer Experience and Design, Security, DevOps, Localization, and other groups developing our McAfee Consumer Products
About You:
- You have 6+ years of software development experience, with hands on experience in coding on Node.js, JavaScript, HTML.
- 4+ years’ experience in creating technical design documents by detailing the implementation approaches
- Expertise in Full stack or MEAN stack development, with more towards backend APIs development
- You have JWT tokenization experience.
- You have experience in databases such as NoSQL, SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis.
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Experience in server management and AWS knowledge is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have knowledge using multiple open source libraries, data and development tools (e.g. Git and GitHub Enterprise, JIRA, Confluence, Visual Studio, shell scripting, SQL, databases)
