Responsibilities:
- Drive B2B marketing strategy (incl low touch digital sales, high touch human led sales, product led growth, etc), execution and outcomes for our digital marketing-adtech and workforce management products portfolio across global markets.
- Key role for the go-to-market team. Works collaboratively with Sales, Product Management and Operations to drive growth and customer success.
- Branding/ PR/ Creating visibility across media channels- Will participate, speak/ give interviews, write in various forums/ platforms/media channels like nasscom, partner events (joint marketing platforms/events of aws, google, etc), CNBC, NDTV, Economictimes, Times of India, BusinessWorld, BusinessToday, BusinessIndia, yourstory, Wall Street Journal, Techcrunch, medium.com, linkedin, twitter, youtube influencer channels, podcasts, etc to create branding and high visibility about our company and products.
- Should create video and audio content in youtube and other channels that our company will use for marketing and promoting our products.
- Marketing strategy: Drive marketing strategy across markets, customer segmentation, product strategy, marketing budgeting/ planning, measurement of ROI, benefits on marketing and sales initiatives. Bring in innovation and new thinking, better ways of go-to-market.
- Messaging: Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market.
- Content: Owns and creates content (e.g. data sheets, infographics, solution briefs, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, web content, presentations, sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, release announcements) to articulate the benefits of the product to the world.
- Sales enablement: Partner with Product Management team to communicate the value proposition of the product to the sales team. Develop sales strategy, identify and promote usage of sales tools and training that support the selling process of the product. Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
- Product launch: Plan the launch of new related products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Customer Intelligence: Be the expert on buyers of the product, how they buy and their buying criteria.
- Growth/ Scaleup: Setup and run growth marketing initiatives.
- Market/Competitor Intelligence: Be the expert on competition. Follow and analyze market trends to position the product and identify new required capabilities.
- Develop more channel partners/ reseller network across markets
- Will own, evolve, optimize the pricing strategy for B2B and B2C products.
- Develop, own and allocate marketing budget judiciously to various campaigns/ initiatives, ensuring high ROI on every $ of marketing spend.
- Should be a key contributor in monthly S&OP meetings, product roadmap discussions.
- Work in sync with field sales leaders & associates to make them more efficient in delivering outcomes and achieve deeper integration of sales & marketing initiatives & metrics.
Required Skills & experience:
- Overall 6-10 yrs experience in strategy and execution/ delivery of key marketing initiatives, channel partner development, growth in customer base, revenue across markets for B2B products preferably in digital marketing, adtech, workforce management/ hrtech.
- Good to have experience working in digital marketing agencies.
- Prefer MBA with BTech/BE degree in Engg or Design or BA/MA Arts/ Journalism/ Design/ Creative fields.
- Prefer if the candidate hold certifications in digital marketing/ adtech including Google, Facebook, etc.
- Strongly prefer experience in B2B SAAS product startups and growth stage companies.
- Experience in developing and disseminating social media (facebook, linkedin, Instagram, twitter) & offline content for B2B/B2C digital and/or physical products. Should have proven experience in delivered positive key business outcomes from such content marketing campaigns/ initiatives.
- Experience in designing, executing and optimizing pricing plans for B2B /B2C SAAS products.
- Experience in developing B2B marketing alliances/ channel partners, affiliate/ partner programs.
- Should have experience in working with customer journey maps, customer experience management.
- Experience in web analytics, customer analytics, developing and tracking key marketing metrics.
- Should have hands-on experience in working with marketing & CRM tools like Adobe marketing, Salesforce marketing, google analytics, adobe analytics, adobe experience cloud, salesforce sales cloud, hubspot marketing, etc.
- Experience in working with digital ad programs (google ads, facebook ads, other ad networks).
- Experience in planning, executing and measuring various kinds of marketing campaigns (email, social media, offline)
- Strongly prefer experience in growing adoption/ user base/ scaling up products to 10 million+ monthly active users and millions of transactions per day.
- Should be able to think OOTB and come up with new ideas/ ways on using growth hacking/ blitzscaling techniques.
- Should have strong english writing, reading, speaking skills and extrovert personality, should be media savvy.
- Should have experience in using marketing automation and other marketing softwares incl account based marketing.
