JOB DETAIL

As part of our Consulting Management team, you will continuously improve your internal network and relationships, collaborating closely with all stakeholders to enable further adoption of F5 products within our customers.

What will you do

 

Location: Singapore (preferred) or India (Mumbai, Bangalore or Hyderabad preferred)

 

Customer Project Management

  • Lead a team of Customer Project Managers that are geographically dispersed throughout Asia Pacific, China, and Japan (APCJ).
  • Define, document, and implement the F5 PS PMO framework.
  • Work with Project Managers to make sure that projects are on time and in budget.
  • Oversee the Project Management process from ensuring SOW accuracy to oversight of project execution, methodology, process adherence by the delivering resources.
  • Set, manage and monitor team goals for customer satisfaction, billable utilization, margin, schedule adherence and other measurable KPIs.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment within the team and with other groups within F5.
  • Collaborate with Product and Services Sales teams to support opportunities for Professional Services engagements.
  • Liaise with other F5 teams such as Product Management, Business Development and Product Sales teams.
  • Identify skills, requirements and tools needed for the Consulting organization to successfully deliver F5 solutions and determine strategy to meet and develop the necessary items.

 

Business Operations

  • Overall responsibility for business operations management of F5 s Professional Services team in APCJ - scheduling resources, monitoring resource utilization, processing orders, revenue recognition, revenue forecasting, etc.
  • Lead a team of Professional Service Coordinators
  • Manage the project lifecycles in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool
  • Drive the revenue forecast process, develop reports and analytics to monitor and optimize the business,
  • Manage the close process, coordinate closely with the revenue team on revenue recognition issues and month-end close, and drive systems and process improvements.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong resource planning and problem-solving skills
  • Operational ability in a diverse, large-scale environments
  • Solid background in operational logistics, business operations and revenue management forecasting
  • Experience in creating and implementing PMO frameworks and processes
  • Able to lead and mentor both physical and virtual teams
  • Outstanding customer-facing skills
  • International business experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong English spoken and written language skill essential - other APCJ languages a plus
  • Experience in delivering large and complex IT Projects to Mobile Network Operators or large BSFI companies.

 

How do you qualify

  • 7+ years of experience in IT/Professional Services
  • 3+ years of experience managing a professional services team
  • Bachelor s and/or master s degree in information technology related field
  • Industry certifications for at least one of the following: PMP, Prince2, ITIL
