Roles and Responsibilities
Define a project plan acceptable to stakeholders and within the constraints of the contract (if any)
Build a resource profile aligned to the project plan
Manage projects day-to-day ensuring that risks, issues and dependencies are recorded, escalated and reported as appropriate.
Manage daily project activities ensuring resources are aligned and working towards the common goal
Complete project status reports and present project status (including financials) during reviews.
Provide accurate project forecasts.
Build key client relationships and improve project profitability by selling additional work and/or resources into the client.
Contribute to innovation, learning and development
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Desired Candidate Profile
- A good fundamental understanding of SaaS, Cloud, DevOps and automation technologies
- Experience in Agile methodologies and performed the Scrum master role
- Project management certification or training (PMP, Prince2)
- Scrum Master certification would be an added advantage
- Must have experience with Project Management Tools like MS Projects, MS Office, JIRA, Kanban boards
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Should be able to lead scrum teams in moderate to high complexity work streams.
- Should be able to lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement
- Should be able to Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
- Should be able to Partner with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
- Should have at least 2+ years of experience managing either all or some of the tech stack related to company, including but limited to: ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS, Ab Initio, DevOps, Databases
- Must have experience of working on Project proposals creation and estimation.
