SquareTrade is looking for talented quality assurance manager for their frontend development team.
Job Responsibilities
- Design automation framework using Selenium & TestNG.
- Develop functional automation scripts using Java and Typescript/Java script language.
- Execute tests Kubernetes based applications and container workloads
- Experience in developing automation testing frameworks from scratch, API Testing experience
- Perform Manual & Functional Testing.
- Good knowledge on automation and willingness to automate (Selenium and Cucumber)
- Must have excellent analytical skill to find root cause and reproduce the issue.
- Understand assigned tasks/jobs, their functional requirements.
- Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Experience in Agile Methodology.
- Modify test case template accordingly if needed and develop test cases.
- Work on day to day issues and coordinate with development team as necessary.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
- Effectively able to mentor other members in the team.
Primary Skills
- 10+ years of relevant experience in automation framework development with Selenium and TestNg.
- Strong experience in Core Java (OOPs, Collection framework, exceptions and I/O, memory management,
- thread, etc)
- Expert in developing Automation framework bottom up
- 5+ years of experience with programming / scripting languages including, but not limited to: Bash
- Familiar with DevOps/CI-CD Tools and Test Management Tools
- Expert in Linux, Windows, Mac - OS internals, OS config, debugging and profiling tools,
- Experience with GitLab, Git, JIRA, Test-Rail
- Experience working in an agile scrum team
- Knowledge or experience of Relational Database Management (e.g. Oracle, SQL, MySQL)
- Good to have knowledge in Python & Groovy.
- Strong communication skills & analytical ability
