What Youll Be Doing

• Conduct internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation.

• Participates in requirements gathering sessions and reviews requirements documents to ensure clear testable requirements

• Create and execute test plans, test strategies, and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.

• Participates in providing estimates for QA related tasks

• Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues and risks.

• Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system integration, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.

• Make recommendations for improvement of applications to programmers and software developers or engineers.

• Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.

• Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.

• Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.

• Assist in the development of change control processes, practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.

• Support Project Management and Scrum masters to ensure assigned QA tasks meets time, budget and quality objectives

• Logs, tracks, verifies and reports on software defects

• Manages and facilitates acceptance testing phase with business partners

• Provides excellent 3rd level support to business partners

• University degree or College Diploma in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of QA experience.

• Knowledge of mobile testing tools and methodologies is required

• Experience working in a global environment and working with remote teams is required.

• Experience in web and client/server applications is required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and superior written and oral communication skills are required.

• Experience using test management tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Jira.

• Experience with Accessibilty testing against AODA and WCAG 2.0 AA Standards.

• Experience with API testing is required.

• Experience with automated testing tools is desirable.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools is desirable.

• Experience with MS SQL datab as e and writing queries is required .

• Experience using .NET framework and C# is an asset.

• Experience with AGILE or SCRUM methodologies.

• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management principles is an asset.
