OUTCOMES EXPECTED IN FIRST YEAR

Lead the Quality Control process for 100 export-oriented components, taking them through Process control, Inspection and Approvals. Also lead the QC team by directing them to follow control plan Inspection process.

1. Drive Quality control process as per the agreed control plan at Supplier manufacturing location

a. Prepare Quality planning documents for inspection activities

b. Audit QC process done by the supplier team

c. Monitor the performance of the Critical parameters Improve AQL

d. Audit the manufacturing process to ensure sustenance of agreed controls

e. Improvise Quality planning activities based on the controls Performance

f. Initiate drive corrective actions for the NCRs observed during the audit / QC process

g. Ensure the standardization happens through relevant documents

2. Maintain MIS through dashboards for the daily QC activities

a. Daily updates for the progress in QC process

b. Work on action plan for the Non-adherence of targets

c. Being Pro-active by planning for available resource at required time for inspection

d. Ensure the customer requirements are captured in terms of documentation Dock audits

Functional Responsibilities

Ensure customer requirements on new projects are exhaustive and unambiguous. Escalate immediately on prediction of timeline miss due to non-adherence in QC process

Sign-off with supplier for the Quality planning activities monitor the adherence level

Qualification of Measurement methods for the QC process

Communicate the QC activities on daily basis through dashboards

PREREQUISITES

Proven track record managing supplier quality control at OEMs (automotive, consumer goods etc.), having experience managing incoming inspection quality control process

Has strong written oral communication skills to engage with Zetwerk s customers and business development representatives abroad, when necessary

Experience across multiple commodities such as die-casting, machining, forging, stamping, injection molding, various secondary surface treatment and heat treatment processes etc.
