Roles and Responsibilities
- The prime responsibility of a regional sales manager is to lead and grow sales of the company as much as possible in the defined region.
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams & develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products from the defined region.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of their regional sales staffs productivity.
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient & stable sales results from the defined region.
- Needs to identify and adhere the strategies & policies to increase sale rate for the defined region. Needs to develop the yearly operating sales plans & procedures for the company in liaison with the Sales Head for the defined region.
- Adherence to all sales policies, practices & procedures within the region for yearly sales result.
- Collaborates with National Sales Head to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines with the defined region.
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on regional sales strategies in operating profit.
- Educates regional sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales & growth, sales of emerging products & multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use & level of sales support, management of expenses & business/ financial issues on contracts. Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.
- Oversee all the functions of the sales compensation system by planning, advocating & implementing successfully.
- Work for adding the treasures to the company by advocating new sales and marketing plans.
- Confer with Executive Team & actively participate in constituting & pursuing appropriate schemes for continuous growth of the company.
- Cultivate the positive affinity with the clients at all levels and also needs to maintain that./ Develop and maintain positive client relationship for business excellence.
- Responsible to meet possible, exceed the annual sales goals & objectives of the company.
- Needs to have the ability to deal with multiple priorities .
- Should be able to intercommunicate effectively with the clients & other related customers & have the ability to increase the client base for the organization or the company.
- Must have dynamic leadership skill to manager the workforce towards organizational growth.
- Must have organizational skills to manage & maintain professional standards of the organization.
- Needs to be able to settle the disputes properly & clear all the issues & conflicts as well.
- Should have the ability to manage working with the different teams of the departments simultaneously
