Primary responsibilities:

1. Understanding the User stories (Requirement understanding)
2. Writing Test Plans and Understanding of agile software development and how QA integrates with entire process.
3. Writing Test cases and working with stakeholders and software engineers on clarifying requirements.
4. Performing functional and feature testing, regression testing, API testing (Postman and curl) and usability testing.
5. Raising defects, triage and getting them resolved in a timely manner using Jira/QC and tracking them.
6. Improving, optimizing, and identifying opportunities for improved software development lifecycle- enhancing the process.
7. Analyzing the feasibility of Automation in all possible test scenarios.
8. Developing proof of concepts.
9. Automation Tool evaluation- Selenium/ Katalon Studio etc.
10. Designing and Developing Test Automation framework using Selenium/ Java
11. Test Script Execution using Jenkins (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)
12. Experience testing Web sites against accessibility and SEO standards.
