Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technology implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a strategic content management platform.
- Design, Solution Implement AEM based web applications.
- Work closely with business, application and infrastructure teams to identify, review and evaluate requirements
- Work with Business Analysts / Program Managers to convert user stories to software solutions.
- Design, Develop, Validate, Deploy and Support implemented requirements.
- Conceptualize and design services/servlets, workflows, and caching mechanism
- Develop components, templates, models, bundles, OSGI services, listeners, handlers, and perform CMS administration tasks.
- Develop third-party integrations.
- Configure AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment.
- Manage source code in Git, review pull requests and deploy code to AEM using Jenkins .
- Write well designed efficient code following guidelines and design patterns with Adobe recommended and industry-proven and secure web programming best practices.
- Work with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, React).
- Participate in daily scrum, sprint planning, reviews, demos, retrospectives, and grooming sessions
- Provide responsive support and undertake corrective action in areas of specialisation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Should have minimum 7 years of experience with AEM 6.x
- Deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager and AEM Core components (Example: Sling, OSGI, JCR, Dispatcher).
- Strong knowledge of content translation in AEM using plugins like XTM, GlobalLInk etcs
- Strong knowledge and experience in integration with components of Adobe Marketing Cloud (including Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics)
- Good hands-on knowledge of AEM workflows
- Ability to fine-tune AEM application for optimal performance, including configuring Threads, Heap, GC Policy.
- Strong Java (OSGi, JSP, Servlets, Core Java, REST webservices, Spring) and web development (HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React etc.) background with experience building web responsive mobile experiences.
- Hands-on experience with Sightly / HTL , AEM Servlets , AEM Components Templates
- Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns , data modelling and SCM (Git)
- Good knowledge of CI / CD concepts and tools like Jenkins , Apache webserver dispatcher, Stingray AWS load-balancers.
- Basic knowledge of Linux commands and familiarity working with running applications on Linux
- Broad web and digital knowledge, an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving as well as mentoring/guiding other members of the team.
- Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and management, including interacting with a globally dispersed team.
Other Desired Skills and Experience:
- Good hands-on experience in OpenText TeamSite.
- Experience in migration of apps from OpenText TeamSite to other CMS like AEM, Drupal etc.
