Build highly resilient, scalable, and secure architectures. Collaborative cross-functional team, building, maintaining, and supporting infrastructure components in cloud

* Develop new processes, building automation, and self-service enabling other teams

* Proficient in a number of AWS services and versatile to provide support across platform, DevOps, and security functions

* On-call rotation duties to cover escalations and emergency fixes.

Responsibilities:

* Hands-on technical design and implementation to automate application build and deployment solutions

* Create and manage container clusters and application deployments

* Build self-service platform and infrastructure as code packages - Terraform

* Automate, optimize and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process -

* Monitor the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure efficient build execution and facilitate the resolution of build/release failures

* Design and implement DevOps Best practices, establish standards and policies for managing source code and continuous integration/delivery

* Create, maintain and share technical documentation

* Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions

* Collaborate with development teams to help architect, configure, monitor, and support their services

Technical Skills:

* Experience building, maintaining, and supporting environments in AWS - Hands-on experience with Terraform

* Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud infrastructure, including networking, VPCs, VGWs, DNS

* Experience with containerization and container orchestration in deployment and operations

* AWS Networking services to create advanced routing and interconnectivity in a multi account strategy

* AWS Security, including incident response framework, shared security model, and architecture best practices for reducing attack surface Advanced knowledge

* AWS Disaster Recovery strategies and an ability to architect granular recoveries of distributed systems based on required RPO and RT

* Infrastructure as code and common frameworks including Terraform

* AWS IAM, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch and AWS Access Analyzer with experience in automation of services

* Scripting languages - Bash, PowerShell

* Programming languages, preferably JavaScript or Python

Qualifications/Experience:

* Bachelors degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience

* 5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex distributed IT solutions (cloud, distributed systems or high-performance computing experience)

* 4+ years of experience in operations management tools. Alerting & Monitoring, Provisioning & Deployment, Configuration Management, and Source code Control

* Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, and Containerization - Infrastructure as code, continuous improvement

* "can-do" attitude.

* Excellent verbal & written communication skills

* AWS Certified SysOps/DevOps - Associate/Professional

* Experience in Linkerd or Istio is a plus
