- You will research cutting edge/even possibly non-public security issues of communication and IT systems in the telecommunication sector
- You will drive development and introduction of new tools to address security issues in 5G and other telecom technologies
- You will be part of a team responsible for growing the portfolio for umlauts telecommunication security unit
- Collaborating closely with other software developers, security consultants and pre-sales engineers
- Becoming a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional R&D team

Desired Candidate Profile
- University degree or equivalent in computer science, communications engineering, or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in security and / or software development
- Have a good understanding of protocols, architecture and challenges related to security, especially on mobile networks
- Strongly skilled in programming with Python
- Familiar with Project Management or agile techniques
- Linux, IP networking, Dockers and AWS experience is a plus
- Responsible, reliable, motivated and proactive mindset
