Designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organizations systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. Makes updates to system related installation documentation. Performs end-user support. Typically requires a bachelors degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
Requirement
	- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
 
	- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
 
	- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
 
	- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
 
	- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
 
	- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
 
	- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
 
	- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to System Administrators and management support
 
	- Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
 
	- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or AWS Solutions Architect Associate recommended
 
	- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and/or Windows based environments.
 
	- Experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (i.e. IIS, Tomcat, Apache, NGINX, etc.)
 
	- Experience with virtualization and containerization (i.e. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, RHEV, and Nutanix AHV)
 
	- Experience working with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, etc)
 
	- Experience working with automation software (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
 
	- Working experience of OpenShift/Kubernetes will be added advantage
 
	- Advanced scripting skills (i.e. Windows PowerShell, bash shell, Perl, Ruby, Python)
 
	- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
 
	- Cloud experience, preferably in AWS or Azure is a plus
 
	- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related subject
