Roles and responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle software development
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics
• Serve as a subject matter expert
• Comply with project plans and industry standards

Mandatory skills

• Hands on experience in developing and deploying commercial/enterprise level web-applications
• Experience in managing Web Servers and organizational IT Infrastructure
• Knowledge of Java, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Knowledge of Databases preferably MySQL
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
• Server side languages e.g. JSP, ASP or PHP

Preferable skills

• Knowledge of Web 2.0 Technologies
• Knowledge of JavaScript Libraries like jQuery
• Knowledge of Cloud based services like SaaS, SaaP, IaaS etc
• Knowledge of Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of OOPS / OOAD and Design Patterns
• Microsoft Office Tools
