As a DBA you will work hand-in-hand with support teams and ensure that all incidents related to the supported applications are resolved in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily Production and general requests from end users.

- Looking for a resource having an experience of 6+ years as SQL DBA lead.
- Responsible to maintain product SLAs
- Front line support to end users responding to issues related to problem/incident management
- Responsibility for ensuring the necessary pro-active monitoring is in place
- Should be able to identify potential issues and take action to prevent or resolve them in a timely manner, to minimize escalations
- Formulate a problem solving and decision-making approach to handle issues
- Experienced production support analyst are highly preferred
- Outstanding skills in written & oral communications
Roles & Responsibilities
- Administration and maintenance of production database environment.
- Responsible for Standalone\Cluster installation and configuration of SQL server
- Updating with latest service packs and security patches on clustered & standalone servers
- Monitoring and configuring server configuration parameters
- Managing Database disk space (data & log) with respect to fragmentation and growth
- Administering Database access, users and implementation of object permissions through groups and roles
- Writing T-SQL codes for automating and smoothening of various database administration tasks
- Using performance counter, profiler to monitor Disk I/O, processor, Memory, Network and User connection
- Capacity planning, Providing Monthly reports and Summary Reports
- Good in in writing the database monitoring scripts.
- Learning new technologies and constantly exploring new areas as per ideal time.
- Other DBA activities like analysis of Space Availability, Backups and Scheduled Jobs.
- Migration of Databases, In-Place Upgrades and Side-By-Side Upgrades.
- Experience with Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring and Cluster Administrative Tasks
- Working experience on Always On Availability Group
- Expertise in Database backups, Recovery procedures, Disaster Recovery planning
- Troubleshooting and resolve any issue related to SQL Server instances, Databases SQL Server and worked on MySQL Server issues as well
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team with a sense of responsibility, Dedication and commitment.
- Should be able to work in weekends and extended support when required in 24/7 support.
