SQL developer
- Key Responsibilities
- 5+ years of working in various data management initiatives and having good knowledge in the Financial Industry
- Extremely strong Data Analytical skills along with an ability to work with numerous business and technology teams to gather requirements, document them and convert them to functional requirements
- Ability to work in an agile environment
- Experience working with all aspects of the SDLC workflow
- Strong SQL skills with a background in writing complex queries using MS-SQL
- Should be able to participate in the testing phase and in writing test scripts
- Skills
- Must be proficient with MSSQL stored procedure creation, job creation, and general report automation
- Familiarity with advanced MSSQL features (linked servers, dbmail, bcp) to use in automating data delivery, file creation, notifications
- Must be proficient with MSSQL server tools (SSIS/Integration SVCS, SSRS/Reporting SVCS)
- Must be proficient with creating and modifying Crystal Reports
- Familiarity with business objects/Crystal Reports Enterprise Server, scheduling reports
- Familiarity with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) creation/usage
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access table creation, queries, macros, forms and reports, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Familiarity with MSSQL (2000/2005/2008)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems used to assign and track work amongst multiple team members
