- As a Mobile App Developer, you will be responsible for the development of Mobile applications to work in concert with the Web Dashboards developed for our commercial IoT, Smart Products for KCP, our B2B organization.
- The role develops leading-edge Mobile App solutions and is viewed as a subject matter expert in the development process understanding and technical delivery expertise.
- The right person has the experience and background consistent with building, implementing, and delivering Mobile Apps for Cloud-based solutions in the IoT space.

Scope/Categories:
- Role will report to a Manager in IT Digital Innovation. Role will not have any direct reports.
- Travel may include approximately 10% of work time.
Key Interfaces :
- Internal: KCP R&E Product Development teams located both locally and across the globe, Regional Business Partners, Project Managers, DTS Digital Innovation & Smart Products team, Enterprise Architects, Enterprise Data Mgmt, Infrastructure/Hosting and Cyber Security teams.
- External: Contractors, Consulting Partners and 3rd Party service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and understand business requirements
- Validate business requirements against the implementation through comprehensive testing
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter
- Work closely with other mobile developers
- Design and implement new features and enhancements
- Create user interfaces based on design needs
- Integrate 3rd party SDKs and plugins
- Publish applications to the Apple App Store
- Publish applications to the Google Play Store
- Support, develop and maintain the backend API s
- Define and track quality assurance metrics and Be responsible for quality analysis
- Document all problems and assists in their resolution
- Independently manage assigned tasks
- Coach and mentor junior people Qualifications
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems, Professional experience with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients and IT stakeholders.
- 8 years of Mobile App Development experience.
- 3 years experience Flutter and Dart
- 3 years experience in a .Net environment
- Experience with Git and Github
- Knowledge of modern design patterns
- A solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including automated testing and building
- Experience with and thorough understanding of formal defect management processes.
- Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex, distributed cloud software applications.
- Ability to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
