We, at Amazon Development Center, are hiring for Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM)

What does a TPM do at Amazon?

TPMs define the product strategy, requirements and influence the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the company's software applications, systems, services and other technology projects end-to-end.

As a key contributor throughout the engineering lifecycle, TPMs ensure consistent delivery of high quality software and influence technical decisions on architecture and implementation of software systems and services.

Basic qualifications

Sr. Technical Program Manager (TPM)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7-20+ years of relevant work experience in Technical Program and/or Product Management or leading software development projects with aggressive schedules.
• Proficient knowledge of Project/Program Management principles and processes.
• Experience working with cross functional technical teams and business units to design, develop, and implement new systems or solutions.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Must Have Skills:

• Hands on System Design / HLD / Architectural Design
• It's an IC (Individual Contributor) role, involves no people management.
• Experience in Project Management / Stack holder management
