JOB DETAIL

What you will do:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support enterprise backup and DR infrastructure.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve support issues related to storage and backup infrastructure
  • Provide remote support and resolution via phone and or remote-control screen sharing software, or onsite working directly with internal and customer equipment.
  • Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation.
  • Monitor performance of managed backup and DR infrastructure
  • Optimizing and evaluating systems regularly
  • Complete and update support tickets.
  • Ensuring that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction.
  • Bear high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable.
  • Maintain technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor s degree in an I.T. related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of total combined experience (Required)
  • 3+ years of work experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions
  • EMC Avamar
  • Veeam Backup and Replication
  • 3+ Experience with Disaster Recovery replication solutions
  • Zerto
  • Azure Site Recovery
  • 3+ years of work experience with VMWare (Required) and Hyper-V (Desired) design, implementation, and administration
  • 3+ years managing enterprise storage arrays
  • Dell XIO-X2
  • Pure Storage
  • Experience in providing onsite or remote support for hardware troubleshooting. Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with direct focus on the source of problems to solve the problem quickly and effectively (Required)
  • Experience monitoring and managing backup solutions and resolving backup and restore related issues (Required)
  • Experience with Cloud replication technologies (Required)
  • Experience with SAN protocols FC / FCoE / iSCSI (Desired)
  • Azure and/or AWS Cloud Migrations and Management (Desired)
  • Experience with a support ticketing system
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Able to work both independently as well as within a team.
