Key Responsibilities

• Engages with multiple Business Units to comply with Design for Safety PDP requirements for Early Learning Shipment and Phase gate exits.?
• Advises design engineering on Safety FMECA, and review the quality of Safety FMECA to ensure key risks identified and preventive actions validated and re-ranked

• Reviews the quality and effectiveness of 8D to ensure root causes and corrective actions are validated with a timely implementation
• Determines when to issue customer communication letters and owns end to end tracking from communication to closed loop corrective actions
• Assist in preparing & presenting Design for Safety management reports:Progress on Safety Retrofit, Safety related 8D status, Design for Safety group’s engagement in PDP, Tracking of key safety issues
• Participates on multifunctional teams comprised of internal, external and/or matrixed headcount to complete projects. Provides technical input to team members to achieve project goals.
• Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on various standard programs / issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
• Project Management experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of local Fire, Building, and Environmental codes is desirable
• Highly proficient in use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Working knowledge of CAD software (NX)
• Working experience on Semiconductor Equipment is highly desirable
