- As a Documentation Specialist you create and maintain maintenance documentation in collaboration with global and local engineering functions.
- Your main responsibility will be conveying technical information into clear and concise maintenance documents used by service technicians, by using text and illustrations according to authoring and illustration guides.
- These activities may also include taking photos in connection with maintenance visits in our turbines.
The main tasks are:
- Analyze the input information to create and update the maintenance documents using simplified technical language to fully support the on-site work of the end user.
- Make use of illustrations (2D and 3D), photos and graphic options to visualize specific parts or steps of the described procedure and to make it clear to the end user
- Standardize content across different platforms and documents types.
- Ensure that any publication is done according to the Documentation Guidelines, in terms of Templates, Style sheets, Writing Rules, Terminology etc.
- Categorize the document content for being published in the different formats according to the End User
- Identify and structure the content and topics to be used in different product deliverable.
- Define and introduce the meta data needed to facilitate the search and access to the desired document.
- Maintain and update the released documents
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Studies: Engineering Degree; Technical knowledge.
- English level - upper intermediate B2- spoken and written.
- Experience in writing technical documentation related to the operation and maintenance of wind turbines (3-5 years).
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Teamcenter, Windchill,...) and Content Management Systems or XML editors.
- Experience working with MS Office365.
- A dynamic person, eager to work, very proactive and committed, methodical and orderly
