JOB DETAIL

The UX/UI Designer will primarily focus on continuously improving the user experience of the enVista s product suite. You will collaborate with the Product Team and stakeholders on key initiatives and features, both large and small, that improve the product and help our clients move their business forward.

As a member of a growing team, we encourage curiosity, inquisitiveness and respectful challenge of ideas and processes. With the user in mind, you will explore the problem space, facilitate requirement gathering, iterate on prototypes, and conduct feedback sessions.

In this role specifically, the ideal UX/UI Designer should bring a strong grounding in Interaction Design and UI Design. You will create prototypes and iterate them into well-designed UIs used in specifications for developers.

  • Collaborate with the UX and Product Teams to define problems and share learnings
  • Facilitate ideation sessions to generate ideas from users and cross-functional groups
  • Based on research and calculated assumptions, create workflows, customer journeys and other diagrams to help build a common understanding
  • Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Collaborate with UX Team members to prepare and conduct user testing
  • Present deliverables and communicate design decisions
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to help build and maintain a design system

Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Developers to build software and services that make peoples lives easier
  • Familiar with user research techniques and which techniques to apply in what situation
  • A portfolio of work to demonstrate your acumen in visual design, interaction design, problem defining techniques and research
  • Proficiency with interaction design tools that support UI design and prototype creation. The UX Team uses Adobe XD, but comparable Sketch, InVision, or Figma experience is acceptable.

  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Strong communication skills and able to present design ideas clearly and persuasively
  • NNg (Nielsen Norman Group), HFI (Human Factors International), or equivalent UX Certification a plus
