We are looking for developers with android mobile application development experience who are passionate about developing apps and being a part of high performing development team. This newly formed team will initially focus on solutions for handheld and wearable barcode scanners used in various aspects of the logistics services domain.
The developer is a key role on a collaborative project team, which is responsible for the design and production
of our mobile data capture applications which complement our core business systems. These systems satisfy customer and organizational business requirements and provide solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The developer understands business problems and opportunities and applies technical skills in the design, development and testing of data flows, applications and systems.
Qualifications
- MCA / B Tech / BE / Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Essential Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in android application development
- Strong in Java programming, Object-oriented analysis and design
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications on android platform
- Should be an expert in android user interface development
- Object-oriented programming and component-based development with Java
- Should be excellent in programming and debugging skills as mobile java (android/J2ME)
- Should possess ability to work with web services on android platform (consuming REST/SOAP APIs) and related underlying technologies (JSON, XML)
- Should be experienced in using SQLite
- Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management
- Experience with Microsoft Windows CE is a plus
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Able to provide technical support in planning, development as well as testing troubleshooting of Android platform
- Responsible for design implementation of software application for different mobile devices in Android platform
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, think logically and solve problems
- Expertise developing and testing across multiple mobile platforms.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle

- Excellent understanding of user experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
- Integrate with the team to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience to end users.
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies
- Experience with Axon Framework, Event Driven Architecture,Domain Driven Design, Distributed Systems, CQRS
- Experience with Visual Studio, Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE s, various plug-ins, Spring STS, Maven, Gradle, Nexus
- Operating systems include UNIX, Linux, Windows CE and Android
