Design, setup and maintain high-quality platform services using Microsoft cloud technologies. Delivery and Operations of platform and application services via automated scripts, procedures, checklists, dashboards and recommend corrective action as and when needed.
Enforce strict governance rules to the effective management of the platform. Determining cloud workload requirements, optimize capacity utilization, and effective cost management.
Create visibility of various applications, infrastructure services deployed, monitored to know the impact and dependencies of any service over every other service.
Proactively identify and automate platform provisioning, process, and procedures on cloud solutions. Drive the transformation of our processes and culture into more collaborative and agile ways of working.
Collaborate with various internal teams including product owners, data engineers, data scientists, platform teams, to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service. Lead knowledge management activities including documentation of current environment and promote community for cross-departmental best practices
Job Profile:
10-15 years of strong experience in architecting/designing solutions for a data -warehouse, data science projects using Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, Data lake, and big data technologies
Must have played the role of an Architect for enterprise applications and understand the challenges in data and system-level integrations
Experience in strong governance of Azure Analytics tools (Azure ML, Azure functions, Databricks) and Self-service tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
Strong scripting and automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Power shell, etc.)
Should have strong communication skills in order to create and share best practices with other IT teams. Should also have effective project management abilities including Agile methodologies
