Rocket Software is hiring a BI focused Data Engineer to build new data models and scale existing ones. As our company grows, this person will build models and dashboards that brings together tech, product, and operational functions and informs strategic decision making at the executive level.

What you ll do

Ingestion of data from multiple sources (Oracle and Snowflake) using Looker

Migrating legacy visualizations to Looker Looks and Dashboards

Implementing Looker Best Practices

Building LookML models for power users to self serve

Work with power users to clear roadblocks

Develop Looker internal dashboards

Putting together data governance best practices documentation

Designing Looker based solutions for internal stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

3+ years of relevant professional experience

Experience with multiple visualization tools

Experience with Snowflake

Proficient in at least one of the SQL languages (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Sql Server, Oracle, Snowflake)

Experience with Looker

Data Analysis background
