EXP.O Customer application is looking for DevOps Configuration Engineer. You will own the applications build infrastructure, manage the configuration of the application to ensure stability and performance, and handle communication and scheduling surrounding these systems. This role also includes an expectation of pro activity reviewing our current processes, the needs of our customers, and the performance of the application to continually improve our development and production systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Essential Experience:

• 5-8 years experience of DevOps Configuration Engineer

• Comfortable and effective at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experienced in UNIX/LINUX scripting (PERL, Bash, etc.)

• Proficient with build and deployment tools such as Chef, Jenkins, or Ansible

• Experienced with DevOps / Infrastructure as Code / Continuous Improvement

• Able to formulate a design strategy from a mix of business requirements, concept documents, and verbal descriptions

Preferred Experience:

• Well-versed in Java and related technologies

• Experienced at leading major systems roll-outs and deployments

• Proficient working with Virtual Machines on-premise and in Azure
