Savvysoft Technologies is seeking versatile Manual Test Engineer (Functional ) to test SaaS applications core functionality, writing and executing test scripts in a complex environment, perform manual test where required, defining and maintaining a test automation framework, and own the suite of automated tests.
Responsibilities:
- Plan & Write test cases based on functional requirements
- Bug reporting using test management tools
- Execute Functional, Integration, User Interface, Database and UAT Testing
- Prioritize test scenarios, coordinate resources, and execute according to plan
- Analyze user interfaces and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
- Identify test script candidates for automation of manual, repeatable time intensive tasks
- Working with Product Engineering team to re-produce the bugs reported, debug sessions, and re-test
- Reporting on test execution, defect tracking, Analyzing crash logs, console output and network traffic log
- Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent testing procedures
Required Skills:
- Experience testing applications in accordance to required functionality and non-functional quality attributes (e.g. Availability, Performance)
- Experience writing test strategies, plans and test cases
- Manual and Automated Quality Assurance testing
- Test automation framework such as Sahi Pro
- Strong defect, issue logging, documentation and tracking using defect management tool sets
Required Experience:
- At least 2- 7 years working experience in testing Dot Net based SaaS applications
