Main Responsibilities

About the Work:

You will be working in one of our agile pods in based in Engineering team, playing a critical role in building IRIS next generation of customer-focused accountancy software. You will be helping to set the code standards and patterns that will be used across our new cloud-based application suite, working with embedded UX, QA and DevOps experts to build re-usable services and components.

What We Need from You:

As well as possessing the required skills, you will be a confident individual capable of working in a busy development environment with a focus on delivering quality code.

Important skills include

• Experience of LAMP/WAMP stack, including solid PHP and Javascript
• 5+ years’ experience of working as a software engineer in cloud/PHP Environment
• Experience with TDD and BDD
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
• An understanding of DevOps practices
• An understanding of cloud-based architecture
• Track record of successful software delivery
