Product Owner

• Development experience

• Experience leading teams and/or supervisory experience

• Experience integrating software

• Manages ambiguity and works with team to identify root cause of technical blocks

• Excellent communication skills including explaining highly technical solutions to non-technical audiences

• Formulate and communicate vision for systems in collaboration with CHQ Product Owner

• Experience scoping work and breaking down large efforts into smaller efforts that each provide value

• Azure DevOps or similar tool experience to manage the work items

• Visio or similar diagram creation tool experience

• Knowledge in Sharepoint

• DB Visualizer (or similar tool)

• GitLab - Both for documentation and understanding the project

• Code Collaborator

• Developer or UX experience (there are a bunch of technologies here)

• Password management system (like TeamPass)

• Good understanding in Unix, Linux serves

• Hands on in DevOps pipeline configuration and BCR configuration related tools and technologies ( GIT, GIT LAB, Chef, Jenkins etc)

• Good understanding or hands on in Networking and Cybersecurity domain is must

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to synthesize complex technical problems and formulate solutions that align with Program Objectives

• Develop and communicate vision and Roadmap for Systems Team

• Create and manage Capabilities, Features, Stories and Tasks related to Systems Team

• Synthesize technical information in order to create and execute tactical plans for both short and long term objectives

• Analyze and facilitate the adoption of industry standards

• Understand customer needs and validate solutions to act as the voice of the customer for the technical team

• Work on a cross-functional team to solve complex technical challenges, maximizing engineering productivity and velocity

• Participate in team demos, reviews, and retrospectives with an eye toward continuous improvement of both systems and processes

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven expertise with one or more deployment tools or methodologies

• Ability to elicit functional and Quality of Service requirements

• Proven expertise in measuring and reporting on the delivery of technology-based services

• Proficiency with the system development lifecycle

• Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide spectrum of people

• Effective at navigating ambiguity

• Expertise in creating, analyzing, and improving systems and processes

• Management of multiple and competing priorities

• Alignment with Expeditors culture and a total commitment to customer satisfaction

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with the application of agile principles

• Experience working in freight forwarding or other transportation industry roles

• Experience with software development and shipping products for internal and external users

• Knowledge of at least one major object-oriented programming language or scripting language

• Proven expertise designing and implementing Continuous Delivery pipelines
