Responsibilities

1. Responsible for delivering pre/post implementation support to business units and working on enhancements and project work relating to the existing Business Warehouse (BW) / Business Objects (BO) solutions.

2. Creating Proof of Concepts to help understand the requirement with the Business and analyse the performance issues in the design

3. Interacting with the functional team and end users to understand their Reporting Requirements and creating related informational documents.

4. Supporting the gathering and validation of all information required for a successful blueprint completion and coordinating with other Process Architects in this Task.

5. Contributing to the design of the Business Intelligence Solution, including technical blueprint and alignment of BI to Enterprise Solution Architecture.

6. Evaluating and planning the effort and resources required for the implementation of the design of new BW reports, including maintenance of risks and issues log.

7. Delivering Incident resolution (root-cause analysis, problem statements) and enhancement releases (change requests). Providing end to end solutions for new and existing projects (impacts, blueprints, functional specifications, build and test management etc.)

8. Configuring and extracting data from extractors like SAP Inventory Management by making use of the SAP defined data sources.

9. Analysing the new features of Net weaver BI 7.0 Bex Analyser. Creating queries using BI- Reporting variables (using Offset values) for YTD (Year to date) and MTD (Month to date).

10. Coordinating with technical team about the BW loads and giving clarification to end users on report content comparing BW Data with R3.

11. Monitoring all scheduled process chain in regular basis to ensure that the data loading to BW is successfully completed.

12. Any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager or management.

Specifications

Experience: Minimum 5 years as in SAP BI

Educational

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Computer Science / Information Technology/ MCA/MSc Computer Science

Proficiency: HANA certified preferred, SAP BI BO
