Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Create and Maintain Test Plan

• Setup the API test suite and collections

• Creating test cases based on requirements

• Develop and execute automated tests using NodeJS, Mocha and Chai

• Manage stakeholder expectations, keeping them informed throughout the project

• Document and report progress, risks, issues, and defects

• Executing tests on APIs, Microservices

• Identifying, creating, and executing tests, including regression testing

• Liaising with other teams e.g. developer, analysts, and designers to identify bugs

• Following testing procedures and processes

Experience:

• Working experience in Agile Scrum teams

• Minimum 6+ years' experience in API testing using POSTMAN mandatory

• Hands on experience in using SQL queries

• A proven ability to write test plans, test cases and defect reports mandatory

• Hands on experience in using JIRA, Confluence and Azure DevOps

• Experience working on test automation using JS, Mocha and Chai is highly desirable

• Load testing with JMETER is highly desirable

• Banking testing experience is highly desirable

• Exposure to Continuous Integration tools

• Experience in regression test automation
