JOB DETAIL

As a Senior Business Analyst - Sales Strategy Operations you will play a key role in driving performance and track SaaS business metrics within Field teams. You will be deeply involved in identifying areas of improvement, Driving forecast, tracking pipeline, and playing a collaborative role in providing the necessary visibility for Sales teams to successfully plan and drive their business goals (e.g. ad hoc reports, data discovery, etc).

The ideal candidate has a passion for helping people, strong problem-solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Operations, you will play a key role on a team that supports Field Americas.

*This role will support Field Americas GTM within the North America region.

Qualifications

  • SaaS prior experience

  • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Accounting or comparable concentration with technical experience

  • Minimum 4 to 7 years driving reporting and analytics processes as an individual contributor and/or team lead

  • Demonstrable experience building reports and dashboards using BI visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc)

  • Demonstrate experience using Database tools (SQL Serve, Oracle, Snowflake,...)

  • Experience roadmapping projects from planning to delivery (multi-stage delivery)

  • Knowledge of common pipeline (Sales) principles (e.g. Sales Funnel, Forecast Category, Conversion %, etc)

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally (e.g. Biz Apps, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to identify and solve common data issues, develop operational steps in improving data cleanliness, and align on data definitions and related information

  • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks and deliverables in a fast-paced, globally-integrated, technology-oriented environment with autonomy to drive towards business goals without an obvious path to success

  • Comfortable presenting data and related insights to regional Sales leaders

  • Passionate about helping organizations understand and solve large scale business challenges through reporting and analytics and streamlining operational efforts

  • Maintain spreadsheets and ERP applications to analyze and manage collections for manufacturers regarding all aspects of receivables.

  • Develop, maintain financial models/applications (VBA Excel/Access) to automate and streamline business processes and perform financial analysis.

  • Understanding of Revenue Recognition/Optimization

  • Recognize revenue for customer contracts in accordance with GAAP and uniform internal/external agreement on revenue recognition treatments.

  • Advance SaaS deal and rev accounting.

  • Participate in monthly Deal reconciliation between Finance and RevOps

  • Eliminating manual process needs to complete output.

  • Perform GAAP analysis and remediation.

  • Participate in ERP system/process implementation.

  • Prepare yearly audit documents following SOX regulations.

  • Adjust previously design SQL statements to eliminate false/positive results.

  • Territory Planning

  • Product Marketing

Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred, but not required (great to have):

  • Familiarity with database technologies and tools (SQL/R/SAS etc.), data transformation and processing. Work experience with real data for customer business and market analysis is ideal

  • Experience with Freshworks products (Freshsales (CRM) is a huge plus!)
