Qualification: Graduate/Diploma holder in any stream (CS/IT Preferable)

Skills Required : 3 -6 years of software development experience using MySQL oriented database design and development

Strong in Following Technologies

SQL, MySQL functions, Store procedure, Triggers and Events Exposure to InnoDB, myISAM, Memory and ndb store engines

Strong understanding of MySQL architecture, configuration, locking

Experience in design and development using MySQL /ORACLE database

Must have database design contribution to at least one Enterprise Class Application for database design

Exposure to Percona MySQL / Percona Tools will be added advantage.

Competencies: (Competencies requirement for the candidate to perform the task)

Experience in developing distributed / scalable web/enterprise application(s)

Excellent knowledge of the open source software/ tools/ technologies

Personal Traits: (Personality attributes required like initiative, perseverance, problem solving, critical thinking, etc.)

Strong comprehension, analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent Communication skills (written verbal) are mandatory

Roles Responsibility: (Main areas of responsibility and roles to be performed)

Will be involved in research, architecture, design, development, testing and benchmarking of database components

Support the technical design and lead team(s) in meeting to remove impediments in delivery

Assisting technical architects in design and development of database.

Assisting system administrators in backup and restore of database(s).
