Responsibilities:
- Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO
- Collaborate with content marketing to create high-quality content optimized for
search engines
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to
Improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly
implemented on newly developed code
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Develop and implement link building strategy.
- Manage webmaster accounts, notifications and implement best practices.
- Conduct competitive analysis, prepare reports on findings, and share the results with
internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and major search engines
- Create technology automation solutions that help grow traffic at scale across millions
of keywords
- Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry
trends and development
- Develop, manage and execute communication/content strategies via social
communities in coordination with the team.
- Implement and administer search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds,
webmaster tools)
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search
channels in order to improve rankings
- Research and administer social media tools.
- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and
recommend SEO strategies
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and
results
Qualifications
- Must have hands-on experience in managing SEO
- Must have an excellent understanding of web analytics (google analytics, Omniture
etc.) and are comfortable jumping into an analytics account to set up traffic source
reports or funnels
- Thorough knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and key algorithm
updates.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- You are an Idea storehouse and continuously devour information on the internet
about the next big online marketing game changer
Requirements
Educational Qualification: MBA/B.E./B.Tech/B. S degree or equivalent in Business or
Marketing
Relevant Experience:
- Must have 3+ years of experience in SEO.
- Passion for SEO and overall internet marketing.
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- This is a very performance-oriented role, candidates with deep inclination towards
data crunching/analysis should only apply
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google
Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- Knowledge of PPC programs and optimizing data gathered from both organic and
paid sources
- Strong communication skills
