Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, and 2019 operating systems
Intermediate knowledge of Terminal Server
Intermediate knowledge of VMware ESX 6.7 and above
Knowledge of Cloud Services (Azure, AWS)
Networking knowledge including being familiar with the TCP/IP v4 and v6 protocol, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP
Experience with patching Dell, ESX, and Windows Server systems
Properly manage file permissions and data integrity
Provide Root Cause analysis and recommend documentation for knowledgebase
Configures, assembles and installs server infrastructure
Upgrades, modifies, troubleshoots, and replaces hardware, software and network components
Performs system backup and recovery activities
Performs server patching in coordination with Barry-Wehmiller s security and systems compliance
Audits hardware/software inventory to ensure their integrity as well as licensing compliance
Updates and maintains site documentation
Keeps up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Server configuration/troubleshooting skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to complete assigned tasks on time
Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, effective organizational skills, and the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities
Experience
3-5 years of experience involving Server support in a corporate environment
Education
The qualified candidate should possess Microsoft Certification in any area or related proven experience
Trained on Active Directory, VMWare, and Windows Server Operating Systems
