You Have:

  • 3 to 6 years hands on developing Operational and Analytical Dashboards
  • 3+ years of experience creating complex interactive Tableau Dashboards
  • Mastery of Tableau charting; reusability; leveraging variables and templates; and building/deploying section-access security models
  • Strong programming and data skills; able to implement business rules and data validations
  • Able to create advanced highlight actions, parameters, filters (Local, Global) and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets using Tableau
  • Proficiency in building, publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, report scheduling using Tableau server
  • Effectively used data blending with multiple data sources and drillable hierarchies
  • 3+ years hands on MS SQL experience, Data Virtualization and Data Modeling (Star Schema)
  • Able to utilize API s and aggregate data from disparate sources in a virtual database
  • Experience in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI s)
  • Experience with various programming languages (JavaScript, R, Python, SAS)
  • Knowledgeable in using GIS providers in Tableau to create multi-layer maps preferred
  • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with change management processes and ensuring changes are properly tested and migrated to production
  • A solid understanding of metrics and analysis techniques to deliver on business objectives
  • Proficient in using MS Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables)
  • Advanced scripting and ETL experience a plus (i.e. Alteryx)
  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework a plus
  • Tableau Certification preferred
  • 3+ years of solution design and prototyping experience in tools, working directly with customer groups (internal or external)
  • 7+ years of professional work experience
  • A bachelor s degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics

You Will:

  • Work within the Portfolio Delivery Metrics team to design and develop, effective and useful dashboards for improved operation and oversight of the Scaled Agile Framework rollout
  • Design and create innovative and valuable visualizations in Tableau to track KPI s, metrics and other key data points
  • Work with product managers / owners to establish metrics requirements
  • Develop workflows and queries to obtain data required for Tableau development
  • Translate business requirements into dashboard specifications
  • Evaluate existing reporting to identify opportunities to recreate in Tableau
  • Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who are looking to utilize Tableau
  • Help to design and document guidelines for visualization development
  • Partner with other technical teams to incorporate data security within Tableau
  • Participate in visioning sessions and design reviews to develop wireframes
  • Support ad-hoc requests for visualization and dashboards
  • Mentor junior resources and provide training to core team members
  • Perform other related duties as required by management
